The final paving of Witte Road is scheduled for the week of Oct. 26.

In order to minimize delays and manage congestion during this time, Witte Road will be closed for the full week to accommodate the paving operations.

The closure will run from 9 a.m. Monday, Oct. 26 and will be reopened upon the completion of the paving which, if all goes well, is anticipated to be 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30.

Motorists will be detoured onto SE 240th during the closure. However, this all depends on the weather. A prolonged wet period may cause postponement until the following week or next dry period. This notice will be updated if warranted by any changes in the weather. Periodic updates on the progress of construction will be posted on the city’s website: http://www.maplevalleywa.gov/.
