What’s blooming at Lake Wilderness Arboretum | Dec. 23

Winter is a magical time to visit Lake Wilderness Arboretum.

Winter is a magical time to visit Lake Wilderness Arboretum. Morning fog lifts from Lake Wilderness, blanketing the landscape in an atmosphere of mystery. Trees that have lost their leaves reveal unique vistas unseen during other seasons, and the low sun lights our towering pines in a dramatic glow.

“I love the Arboretum’s uniqueness,” said Noel Paterson, President of the Lake Wilderness Arboretum Foundation. “The beauty and sereneness of the gardens and trails are great for people of all ages.”

In winter, get lost in quiet thought as you walk through our gardens and Forest trails.

Visitors are welcome every day from dawn ’til dusk. The Arboretum is open throughout winter –and every day of the year – and is free to the public.

Lake Wilderness Arboretum is located in Lake Wilderness Park at 22520 SE 248th in Maple Valley, WA. Visit our newly redesigned website, LakeWildernessArboretum.org, for more information. To volunteer, donate or become a member.
