The Black Diamond Farmers Market, now in its second year, is accepting applications for the 2014 season.
A board of advisors has joined the team, and planning for special events, activities and entertainment will punctuate this year’s Friday market.
“I’m so pleased with the results of our first season,” said manager Mira Hoke in a statement. “The community, the vendors and this tremendous location added up to the right market at the right time.”
Hoke added that the city of Black Diamond has no supermarket, and folks like to keep their dollars local, if possible.
In addition, the BDFM is offering an information cart for local businesses who would like to provide brochures, maps or menus to promote themselves to visitors and locals.
Information and applications are available on the market’s Facebook page. For questions call 360-886-2963.
