Maple Valley Fire & Life Safety, the Renton Fire Department and King County paramedics were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident at 12:15 p.m. today, Feb. 9 in the 18200 block of Southeast Petrovitsky Road. Upon arrival firefighters found a passenger car had collided power pole and sheared it off.
The male driver was treated at the scene and transported by paramedics to a local hospital. A second collision also occurred in the area as a result of this accident. Three additional patients were treated at the scene and two female patients were transported by ambulance to local hospitals. Puget Sound Energy crews arrived to replace the pole and restore power to the area.
