Valentine’s Day accident on Auburn-Enumclaw Highway, no injuries | Black Diamond Police Department

Black Diamond Fire Department emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene of an accident at about 3:15 p.m. Feb. 14. Firefighters found a vehicle on the side of the road with King County Sheriff's deputies and state patrol troopers on the scene.

ACCIDENT: Auburn-Enumclaw Highway.

  • Black Diamond Fire Department emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene of an accident at about 3:15 p.m. Feb. 14. Firefighters found a vehicle on the side of the road with King County Sheriff’s deputies and state patrol troopers on the scene. The vehicle as hit on the driver’s side and there were four passengers, including two children. None reported injuries.

  • One of the most dangerous places to be is on the side of a road. If you have to pull over on the side of the road for some reason then you should stay in your vehicle. Your car will provide the best protection from other drivers. You should also stay seat belted in if possible and be sure to keep your children in their child passenger seats or booster seats. One of the reasons the family was not injured in this accident was because they stayed seat belted in their vehicle.
