A 78-year-old woman, Betty Bauder, missing since 3:30 p.m. Feb. 18 was found early this morning, Feb. 19, by searchers in a field in the 24500 block of 180th Ave SE.
She was found just before 1 a.m. and taken by a fire department aid car to Auburn Hospital to be evaluated.
The King County Sheriff’s Office asked for help from the public to find Bauder, who suffers from dementia. She wondered away from her home in unincorporated King County near Covington.
Bauder was last seen about 3:30 p.m. Feb. 18 where she lives with her daughter. She left on foot from the 24200 block of 156th Ave Southeast.
Bauder has been missing in the past, and at least once was able to take a bus.
