All subjects in the police blotter are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
CRIMINAL WARRANT
• On June 1 officers were dispatched to the Covington Safeway to the report that a male subject had urinated on the soda machine outside the store’s doors.
FAMILY DISTURBANCE
• On June 2 officers responded to reports that a father was violently pulling his daughter out of a car and shoving her on the sidewalk. The police report stated that the daughter had been refusing to get out of the vehicle.
BURGLARY
• On June 2 officers responded to reports that unknown suspects had used force to enter the victim’s home and steal large quantities of jewelry and cash. The police report stated the items total more than $11,000. The police report stated the subjects broke a front window in order to reach in, unlock and open it.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES
• On June 3 officers responded to reports that an unknown subject had come running down the reporting party’s street. The reporting party told officers the subject knocked on her door and when she opened it, he was fidgeting and was acting nervous. She told officers, the subject claimed to be with Elite Roofing and wanted to give a bid.
• On June 3 officers responded to the Allegro Apartments to the report that an unknown subject appeared to enter the apartment of the reporting party when she left to take the trash out. The report stated that wires to the reporting party’s cable box had been unplugged but nothing was missing or damaged.
• On June 3 officers responded to a road rage report where it was believed one driver pointed a gun at the other.
