The Greater Maple Valley Unincorporated Area Council’s monthly meeting is scheduled for 7-9 p.m. Monday, July 6 at the Maple Valley Fire Station on the southeast corner of the intersection of Southeast 231st Street and state Route 169 across from the King County Sheriff’s Office Precinct No. 3 office.
Among topics to be discussed are King County parks and open space plans.
Members of the public are invited to attend and can address the council on any local issue during an open comment period at the start of each meeting.
The council is locally elected and represents all unincorporated area residents living in the Tahoma School District. It advocates issues of local importance to King County. County and state officials often are invited to address the council and local residents.
