Two-vehicle accident south of Lake Youngs, expect traffic delays

A two-vehicle accident was reported at approximately 4:15 p.m. Friday, April 24 at the intersection of SE 224 St and 164th Ave SE in unincorporated Kent, just south of Lake Youngs. No serious injuries were reported.

Kent Fire Department Regional Fire Authority responded because of a report of minor injuries according to Sergeant Stan Seo of the King County Sheriff’s Office. No serious injuries were reported.

Both cars, a white Volkswagen beetle and a red Ford explorer, will be towed, Seo said. Traffic delays in the area are expected. Avoid the area if possible.
