At 1:04 a.m. Satuarday firefighters from Valley Regional Fire Authority and King County Medic One responded to a report of a multiple car crash on westbound Highway 18.

Firefighters found a truck flipped on its roof with 1 male trapped inside and another vehicle with major damage approximately 200 yards further down the highway also with 1 occupant.

Firefighters were able to use extrication tools to remove the trapped occupant. Both patients were treated at the scene and transported by private ambulance to Multicare Auburn Medical Center. On these cool rainy nights please adjust your travel speed with highway conditions. The accident is currently under investigation by Washington State Patrol.
