Tool drive to be held on Memorial Day at Tahoma High School

King Conservation District is sponsoring the tool drive. They will accept donations of shovels, wheelbarrows, rock rakes, watering cans, hoses, gloves, seeds, clippers, pruners and garden supply store gift cards

The “Tools for Recovery” tool drive will take place on Memorial Day at Tahoma High School. The tools donated go to Veteran’s Conservation Corps, which is a behavioral health program of the Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs. The program helps create jobs in the environmental sector.

Donations can be dropped off between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday, May 25 in the parking lot of Tahoma High School.
