Three car accident on Covington-Lake Sawyer Road sends one to hospital with serious injuries Aug. 5 | Black Diamond Fire Blotter

Aug. 5 Accident: Covington-Lake Sawyer Road. Mountain View Fire and Rescue/Black Diamond Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on the Covington Sawyer Road at about 1:30 p.m. The firefighters on scene closed the road so they could provide aid to the three vehicles involved in the accident. One person had severe injuries and was transported to the hospital, the other two had minor injuries and were transported to the hospital. The incident is still under investigation with King County Sheriff's Office.
