• In a news April 9 article, “Music man and extra-miler honored,” the Reporter mistakenly identified Michele LaBare as the president of Jenkins Creek Elementary School’s PTA. LaBare is the chairwoman of the Educator of the Year and Golden Acorn Awards committee for the school’s PTA.

• In some of its formative years, members of what eventually became Lake Sawyer Christian Church met in a building that was on property owned by Lawrence and Dorothy Stoffle. Their last name was spelled incorrectly in a news article (“Its still about the people”) in the March 29 edition about the church and its 50th anniversary.
