The Greater Maple Valley Unincorporated Area Council monthly meeting is scheduled for 7-9:30 p.m. Monday, January 3 at King County Police Precinct No. 3 (NE corner of intersection of SE 231st St6 & SR-169 across from the Fire Station).

Topics to be discussed include unincorporated area council funding, King County code recommendations, King County comprehensive plan update, Yarrow Bay master planned developments and area council officer elections.

All members of the public are invited to attend. During an open comment period at the start of the meeting members of the public can address the council on local issues of importance to them.
