Beginning Monday, July 2 through most of the summer Tahoma Way will be closed.
The road will stay closed until the beginning of the school year in September.
According to a media release, the road will be opened Aug. 15 and 16 for events Tahoma High School has planned.
The road closures will be due to the construction of a new roundabout from the Overlook Plat, Summit Ball Park and east entrance of the high school.
During the construction, the contractor will provide pedestrian access for those that walk or bike in the area. The release added the route may change from time to time during the process.
A detour route will also be installed.
