Tahoma High's We the People mock Congressional debate team won the Washington state championship again in Olympia on Saturday and will head to Washington, D.C. in April.

Tahoma High’s We the People mock Congressional debate team won the Washington state championship again in Olympia on Saturday and will head to Washington, D.C. in April.

“On behalf of these students I would like to thank their teachers and my Tahoma colleagues who helped in this effort,” wrote Gretchen Wulfing, We the People advisor, in an email to district staff. “From encouraging students, to helping with research, to doing run-through’s, or just making me laugh – we are so grateful to all of you. In my world, everything takes a village, and I am blessed by my Tahoma village.”
