Tahoma High School Field Show Ensemble headed for competition

The Tahoma High School Field Show Ensemble will participate in the Puget Sound Regional Field Show Competition on Oct. 27 in Everett, and the State Invitational Field Show Competition in Auburn on Nov. 10.

The Tahoma High School Field Show Ensemble will participate in the Puget Sound Regional Field Show Competition Oct. 27 in Everett, and the State Invitational Field Show Competition in Auburn on Nov. 10.

The show, entitled “A Knight’s Quest” boasts a full front percussion ensemble, castles as props, a knight in shining armor, a sword fight, bursts of color, great music, precision marching, and more.

The show is supported by six staff members as well as more than 20 active parents who help with  uniforms to moving props and equipment on and off the field.

The ensemble will also perform at Tahoma’s Homecoming Game on Friday, Oct. 19.

The ensemble has grown to almost 100 members including a color guard, which is coached by Thomas Conway formerly of the DCI Blue Devils.
