The Tahoma Cheer Boosters have scheduled an annual fundraising auction beginning at 5:30 p.m. Saturday Feb. 5 at the Lake Wilderness Golf Course.

The cheerleaders and boosters are raising money to help fund their trip to compete in March at the national level in Anaheim, Calif. The cheer boosters will donate a percentage of proceeds from the auction to the Maple Valley Food Bank. Tickets are $40, include dinner and can be purchased online at the cheer website www.tahomabearscheer.com.

The 2010-2011 Tahoma competition cheer team recently placed third at the Skyline Winter Cheer Classic and competed at the WIAA State Cheer Championships Jan. 22, at the Comcast Event Center in Everett.

The cheerleaders are coached by Tara McVay and assistant coach Jerry Spalti.
