The city of Covington would like residents to know that the King County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team is doing a training exercise at a vacant house on city property until about 6 p.m. today, Aug. 2. There will be city staff that will be out taking pictures at about 3:30 p.m.

The training will be at 17081 SE Road, Covington, WA 98042. There will be deputies in and around the neighborhood dressed in SWAT uniforms. The training has been going on since 10 a.m. and will last until 6 p.m. The city would like to warn the community that they may hear some loud noises throughout the day as part of their training.
