Students reportedly found in possession of marijuana on school grounds | Police Blotter

The following entries are taken from reports provided by the King County Sheriff’s Office.

LARCENY

• On Oct. 19 officers were called to Kentwood High School to reports that a cell phone was stolen.

• On Oct. 25 it was reported that an unknown suspect stole spare change out of an unlocked vehicle. The report stated the suspect also reportedly left behind a hoodie sweatshirt.

BURGLARY

• On Oct. 20 it was reported that unknown suspects slipped in through a chained fence and entered an open garage. The police report stated tools were taken without permission.

VANDALISM

• On Oct. 20 it was reported that unknown suspects reportedly cut branches off the victim’s pine tree.

TRESPASS

• On Oct. 23 a subject was trespassed from a convenience store after attempting to steal a six pack of beer.

• On Oct. 24 officers responded to the Covington Walmart where a female subject had reportedly verbally assaulted a worker. The reporting party was requesting she be trespassed from the store.

DRUNKENNESS

• On Oct. 23 an under age subject was sent to detox after being found extremely intoxicated at a Bartell Drugs.

HARASSMENT

• On Oct. 24 it was reported that the victim’s husband had threatened her by saying he would stab her. According to the police report, he was armed with a knife for roughly an hour prior to the arrival of officers.

OBSTRUCTING AN OFFICER

• On Oct. 25 it was reported that a subject refused to cooperate during a traffic stop. The police report stated that officers pulled over the vehicle because they did not have a rear license plate light.

MARIJUANA

• On Oct. 24 it was reported that students at Kentwood High School were running from a security guard. The police report stated, the students were found to be in possession of marijuana.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES

• On Oct. 28 officers were called to the area of Lake Wilderness Country Club Drive SE around 2 a.m. It was reported that two subjects dressed in dark clothing were seen on security cameras looking into vehicles.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• On Oct. 30 it was reported that a vehicle was stopped by officers for having expired tabs. During the traffic stop, officers arrested the driver for driving under the influence.
