To clarify Tahoma School District spokesman Kevin Patterson’s statement concerning the cost savings in the story “Public hearing on potential new Lake Wilderness Elementary” in the Oct. 2 edition of The Reporter, the savings came from the new high school project and other improvement projects, which are being paid for with funds from the 2013 construction bond measure, and additional state construction matching funds.
