Drivers who use 15th Street Southwest to access southbound State Route 167 in Auburn should take alternate routes and plan for delays today.
Closure details
Starting at 10 p.m. Friday, April 29, crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation closed the westbound 15th Street Southwest loop on-ramp to southbound SR 167 around the clock. The on-ramp will reopen at 5 a.m. Monday, May 2.
In addition, the eastbound 15th Street Southwest on-ramp to southbound SR 167 are closed nightly from:
· 10 p.m. Friday, April 29, to 6 a.m. Saturday, April 30
· 9 p.m. Saturday, April 30, to 6 a.m. Sunday, May 1
· 9 p.m. Sunday, May 1, to 5 a.m. Monday, May 2
These closures are necessary to rebuild both 15th Street Southwest on-ramps. This work is part of the SR 167 8th to 277th Southbound HOT Lane project, which, when complete, will extend the southbound HOT lane by eight miles.
Signed detour routes will be displayed along the route. Drivers can use the Ellingson Road on-ramps to access southbound SR 167. For the most up-to-date details and a full listing of closures for this project, please visit the King County Construction page.
