Speeding driver stop reveals felony warrant for fraud | Black Diamond Police Blotter

Oct. 12 FELONY WARRANT: Roberts Drive. An officer observed a vehicle speeding on Roberts Drive. Upon stopping the vehicle, the female driver was identified by her driver’s license. A routine records check showed the female had a felony warrant out of the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office for fraud charges. The female was placed under arrest and booked into the Regional Justice Center in Kent.

Oct. 7

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: The police department received c physical domestic violence call between a husband and wife at a residence on Lawson Street. The couple was in the process of separating and their argument had become physical. Through investigation it was determined the wife had assaulted the husband, in which she was placed under arrest and booked into Buckley jail on the charges. The husband was provided domestic violence resources at the scene.

Oct. 6

VEHICLE PROWL: 230th Place Southeast. Officers were dispatched to a residence regarding a vehicle prowl that had occurred overnight. The vehicle’s owner advised he had parked it in the driveway before going to bed for the night and stated several items of value from inside were stolen, totaling $715. The scene was processed for evidence and this case is still under investigation.
