Soles for souls to help Haitians with shoe drive

The group Dads of Maple Valley has organized a shoe drive for the people of Haiti affected by the earthquake. The shoe drop off event is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 20 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 21 at the main park or Climbing Wall Park in the Maple Woods neighborhood, located at the intersection of SE Maple Ridge Drive and Maple Ridge Way S.E.

The shoe drop off event is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 20 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 21 at the main park or Climbing Wall Park in the Maple Woods neighborhood, located at the intersection of SE Maple Ridge Drive and Maple Ridge Way S.E.

The group is asking for anyone interested to come by and drop off shoes or funds for the effort to help the people of Haiti.

The group is asking for shoes for men, women and children, gently worn or new.
