Waste Management reported garbage haulers did not pick up residential and commercial garbage and yard waste Tuesday and Wednesday in and around Maple Valley because of the snow and ice on the roads.

The plan for the next pickup is Friday. Haulers will not be working on Thanksgiving.

Waste Management stated about two-thirds of the residential routes were collected Monday.

The residential customers will be allowed to set out twice the amount on their next scheduled collection day.

If yard waste was missed this week customers would set yard waste out on the next regular yard waste collection day.
