Intermittent pavement replacement and repairs are scheduled to take place this month along a one-mile-long stretch of King County Parks’ Soos Creek Trail.
Beginning today and running through Wednesday, Aug. 13, crews will be making repairs to portions of the trail between Southeast 240th Street south to Southeast 256th Street in Kent.
The work won’t require a complete closure of the trail and flaggers will direct trail traffic around active construction zones. Trail users are asked to comply with any directions given by the flaggers.
The six-mile-long trail is paved with soft-surface shoulders and runs through a rural stretch of Kent’s East Hill area.
