VANDALISM

• Car vandalism involving a possible BB gun was reported at 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 1 on the 19200 block of Southeast 277th Street.

THREATS

• Police received a threat report at 11:17 a.m. on Dec. 1 at Kentwood High School, 25800 164th Ave. SE. Police said a male student allegedly threatened to bring a gun to school and “shoot an assistant principal and anyone who gets in his way.” Kent School District Spokesman Chris Loftis told The Reporter that this was an “impulsive, off-handed threat by a student who was being disciplined for another matter” and that there was no actual weapon or violence. Loftis said the matter was handled administratively and that police were only contacted per school policy.

“There was never a real and credible danger on the campus,” Loftis said.

LARCENY

• A jewelry box was reported stolen at 3:12 p.m. on Dec. 1 from a residence on the 24200 block of 224th Avenue Southeast.

DRIVING

• Police reported at 4 p.m. on Dec. 1 that a driver with a suspended license was involved in a two-car accident on the 17300 block of Southeast 270th Place.
