Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church in Maple Valley will host a box packing party to prepare packages for troops stations in Iraq and Afghanistan on Saturday, June 20.

The box packing party gets underway at 9 a.m. at the local church, which has sent thousands of boxes to troops in the past six years. The local community is invited to stop by to pack boxes, write cards, fill out customs forms, and more.
