Crowded conditions at two elementary schools will require a transfer of about 90 students to different schools next year, according to a proposal presented to the Tahoma School Board March 12.

Under the proposal, about 60 students would move from Lake Wilderness Elementary to Glacier Park Elementary and 30 students would move from Rock Creek Elementary to Shadow Lake Elementary.

The school district will send letters this week to each family that is affected by the change. The letter will advise the family of the proposed change and invite them to an informational meeting that will happen after spring break in April.
