Schedule for Maple Valley schools speed limit zones

It is unlawful for the operator of any vehicle to speed in excess of 20 MPH when passing any marked school or playground crosswalk when it is marked and fully posted with speed limit signs.

Driver’s need to be driving 20 MPH by the time they reach the signs with flashing lights and enter the school zone when the lights are flashing.

Elementary School zones lights in Maple Valley will typically be flashing during the following hours:

8:45-9:20 a.m.

11:45 a.m. to 12:10 p.m.

12:45-1:10 p.m.

3:25-3:50 p.m.

Early Release – 12:50-1:30 p.m.
