Scare Away Breast Cancer fun run and walk to be held at Kentlake

Preregistration cost is $13 for the 5K and shirt, or $8 for the 5K only. The children's 2K is free. The day of event cost for the 5K and shirt is $15 and $10 for 5K only.

Kentlake High School will be hosting the Scare Away Breast Cancer fun run and walk fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 26.

All profits will go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation of Seattle.

The event which will include a 5K and 2K will be held at Kentlake High School in Covington.

Sign in the day of the event will begin at 9 a.m., the 5K will begin at 9:30 a.m. with the 2K to follow.

Preregistration cost is $13 for the 5K and shirt, or $8 for the 5K only. The children’s 2K is free. The day of event cost for the 5K and shirt is $15 and $10 for 5K only.

The event will also include a costume contest, music, food and prizes.

Registration can be paid in advance to the Kentlake cashier or can be completed day of the event.
