Assistant Editor Sarah Brenden and Reporter Ana Karen Perez-Guzman won numerous awards in the Washington Newspaper Publisher Association 2016 Better Newspaper Contest.
The award winners were announced Oct. 14 at the 129th annual WNPA convention in Wenatchee.
Brenden’s and Perez-Guzman’s talent as journalists was recognized in news stories, photography, page design and website categories.
