Regional Animal Services of King County will waive pet adoptions fees for the first 100 customers this weekend as part of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and Rachel Ray $100,000 Challenge competition.

This offer is only good for the first 100 customers through the door of the King County Pet Adoption Center this weekend. If one of these potential adopters doesn’t find a pet, RASKC will issue a rain check good through the end of the $100K Challenge on August 31. All adoptions are subject to the normal review and approval process, and there is a limit of one rain check per household.

Fifty animal shelters from around the country are participating in the contest which focuses on increasing the number of pet adoptions, reuniting lost pets with their owners and saving animals lives.

The Pet Adoption Center opens at noon on Saturday and is located at 21615 64th Avenue South in Kent.
