The Kent Education Association and school teachers are facing stiff fines if the teachers do not return to class on Monday.
King County Superior Court Judge Andrea Darvas ruled the teachers will pay $200 per day and the union $1,500 per day. If the teachers are not back by Monday the fines will be assessed beginning Sept. 8.
