There will be a public meeting concerning the proposal of a new public trail by the Lake Youngs Watershed at the Maple Valley Fire and Rescue Station 81 tonight at 7:00 p.m.
The meeting is hosted by King County.
The 600 foot trail would start at the end of Peter Grubb Road Southeast for safer access to the horseback trail that surrounds Lake Young. The property is owned by King County Roads. The trail is maintained by Parks and Recreation, but is owned by the City of Seattle.
Station 81 is located 22225 SE 231 St. Maple Valley, WA 98038.
