LARCENY

• An attempted theft was reported at 9:34 a.m. on Aug. 9 at a vehicle parked on a residential roadside on the 21800 block of Southeast Wax Road.

• Shoplifting of beer by juveniles was reported at 5:18 p.m. on Aug. 8 at Wilderness Auto Service, 23701 Maple Valley Black Diamond Road SE.

• A theft was reported at 1:46 p.m. at a vehicle parked in a driveway on the 27700 block of 214th Avenue Southeast.

• A purse was reported stolen at 9:13 p.m. on Aug. 7 from Costco, 27520 Covington Way.

• Items were reported stolen at 5:51 p.m. on Aug. 7 from Walmart, 17432 SE 270th Place.

• A phone was reported stolen at 4:59 p.m. on Aug. 7 from a display holder at the Sprint Store, 17307 SE 272nd St., No. 110.

• Shoplifting was reported at 12:31 p.m. on Aug. 7 at Fred Meyer 16735 SE 272nd St.

• A tire suppression valve and its components were reported stolen at 11:53 a.m. on Aug. 7 from outside Terramar Retail Centers, 27331 172nd Avenue Southeast.

• A residential burglary through a rear window was reported at 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 6 on the 26600 block of 190th Avenue Southeast.

• An attempted residential burglary was reported at 6:36 p.m. on Aug. 6 on the 19000 block of Southeast 266th Street.

A shoplifting arrest was reported at 4:18 p.m. on Aug. 6 for an individual with outstanding warrants who concealed a bottle of alcohol in a bag and left Walmart, 17432 SE 270th Place.

A wallet was reported stolen at 11:10 a.m. on Aug. 6 from the jacket of an employee at Safeway, 17023 SE 272nd St.

A power washer and bike were reported stolen at 9:29 p.m. on Aug. 5 from an unlocked shed on the 16700 block of Southeast 268th Street.

• Jewelry and coins were reported stolen at 8:15 p.m. on Aug. 5 during a burglary to a private residence on the 24800 block of 224th Avenue Southeast.

Chewing tobacco and cigarettes were reported stolen at 9:36 p.m. on Aug. 3 at Shop Fast/Texaco, 26804 Maple Valley Black Diamond Road SE.

A gun was reported stolen at 5:05 p.m. on Aug. 3 during a break-in  to a vehicle parked in the Les Schwab, 27215 Maple Valley Black Diamond Road SE, parking lot.

• A commercial burglary was reported at 3:13 a.m. on Aug. 3 at Maple Valley Public Works, 23713 SE 264th St.

• Power tools and a charger were reported stolen at 4:07 p.m. on July 31 from a garage on the 23100 block of Southeast 287th Street.

 

TRESPASSING

• Trespassing was reported at 5:38 p.m. on Aug. 3 at Lake Wilderness Park, Southeast 250th Place and 224th Avenue Southeast.

 

CHILD ABUSE

• Police received a referral report at 12:54 p.m. on Aug. 4 from a day care through the Tahoma School District of a potential child abuse incident.

 

ASSUALT

Police received a report at 5:08 p.m. on Aug. 5 of a pregnant woman assaulting her boyfriend, who lives on the 21900 block of Southeast Wax Road.

Police received a report at 11:43 a.m. on Aug. 5 of fourth-degree assault. Police said the alleged victim’s husband hit and pushed her, causing bruises and pain on the 2200 block of Southeast 268th Street.

 

FRAUD

• A secret shopper fraud scam was reported at 11:30 a.m. on Aug. 7 by an individual living on the 19600 block of Southeast 264th Court.

• A Cragislist and Paypal related fraud was reported at 7:26 p.m. on Aug. 6 by an individual living on the 18300 block of Southeast 247th Street.

 

WARRANTS

• An individual was reportedly arrested at 10:19 a.m. on Aug. 8 on a warrant while getting ready to beg for money at Southeast 270th Place and 174th Place Southeast.

• Two individuals in the Walmart, 17432 SE 270th Place parking lot were reportedly booked at 8:38 a.m. on Aug. 7 on warrants.
