• Child abuse was reported at 4:23 p.m. on Dec. 29 on the 23000 block of 225th Place Southeast.
• Child abuse was reported at 2:27 p.m. on Dec. 25. Police said a child had bruising and scratches after returning from his or her father’s house on the 28800 block of 213th Court Southeast.
ASSAULT
• An aggravated assault arrest was reported at 10:27 p.m. on Dec. 29 on the 23600 block of Southeast 243rd Place.
• Fourth-degree assault was reported at 6:35 p.m. on Dec. 22. Police said a verbal dispute over a parking spot at Fred Meyer, 16735 SE 272nd St., turned physical.
STALKING
• Stalking/harassment was reported at 3 p.m. on Dec. 27 after an individual living on the 22400 block of Southeast 240th Street allegedly received more than 20 text messages from a parent over a short period of time.
THEFT
• A residential burglary was reported at 11:25 p.m. on Dec. 27 on the 26700 block of 196th Avenue Southeast.
• Shoplifting was reported at 6:01 p.m. on Dec. 27 at AT&T, 27112 167th Place Southeast.
• Shoplifting was reported at 12:56 p.m. on Dec. 27 from the Cellular Connection, 23916 SE Kent Kangley Road.
• A vehicle theft was reported at 2:35 p.m. on Dec. 24 at Fred Meyer, 16735 SE 272nd St. The alleged victim told police that the car was locked with a “club.”• Shoplifting was reported at 1:10 p.m. on Dec. 24 at Home Depot, 27027 185th Ave. SE.
• Shoplifting of headphones was reported at 12:55 p.m. on Dec. 24 at Costco, 27520 Covington Way.
• Attempted theft was reported at 12:01 p.m. on Dec. 24 in a vehicle parked in a private driveway on the 24100 block of Witte Road Southeast.
• License plates were reported stolen at 10:53 a.m. on Dec. 24 from a vehicle parked in the Costco employee parking lot.
• Police reported four arrests for mail theft at 5:12 a.m. on Dec. 24 in the Timberlane neighborhood and were found in possession of methamphetamine.
• Mail theft was reported at 11:48 p.m. on Dec. 23 on the 26200 block of 195th Place Southeast.
• An attempted residential burglary was reported at 8:01 p.m. on Dec. 23 on the 24400 block of Witte Road Southeast.
• Soda was reported stolen at 7:36 p.m. on Dec. 23 from a locked rental car parked on the 25700 block of 177th Place Southeast.
• Auto theft was reported at 1:37 p.m. on Dec. 23 on the 26600 block of Timberlane Drive.
• Items were reported stolen at 10:51 a.m. on Dec. 23 from a vehicle parked on the 20200 block of Southeast 260th Court.
• Mail theft was reported at 1:03 a.m. and 6:47 p.m. on Dec. 23 at a residential mailbox on the 25800 block of 201st Avenue Southeast and from mailboxes on the 26100 block of 195th Place Southeast, respectively.
VANDALISM
• Vandalism to a mailbox was reported at 3:24 p.m. on Dec. 28. Police said a a mailbox on the 12700 block of Southeast 73rd Place had been pulled from the ground and smashed.
• Vandalism was reported at 7:46 p.m. on Dec. 26. Police said a residential home on the 26400 block of 218th Avenue Southeast was egged.
TRESPASSING
• Trespassing arrests were reported at 9:57 a.m. on Dec. 27 at Safeway, 26916 state Route 169.
• Police reported trespassing at 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 23 under the Highway 18 overpass to Southeast 272nd Street.
DRIVING
• Driving with a revoked license was reported at 4:08 p.m. on Dec. 26 after the driver allegedly failed to signal coming out of a parking lot on the 16800 block of Southeast 272nd Street.
• Police reported an driving with a revoked license arrest at 10:21 a.m. on Dec. 24 of a “suspected prowler” on the 18800 block of Southeast 269th Street.
• Police reported a DUI arrest at 10:01 p.m. on Dec. 20 in the parking lot outside of the 76 gas station, 26821 state Route 169.
FRAUD
• Credit card fraud was reported at 1:12 p.m. on Dec. 26 at Maple Valley City Hall, 22017 SE Wax Road, No. 200.
