May 3

THEFT: 18800 block of Southeast 265th Street. A red and black Raleigh M80 mountain bike was stole from an open garage in the Timberlane neighborhood.

CAR PROWL: 26900 block of 176th Place Southeast. When he left for work at 7 a.m. a man discovered that his laptop was missing. He had placed it behind the driver’s seat the night before when he came home from work but he left the car unlocked.

May 2

RECKLESS DRIVER: Intersection of Southeast 266th Street and 195th Place Southeast. A driver crashed into a fence, taking out a 120 foot chunk of the barrier, then fled the scene. The driver was on the road with a suspended license and when caught denied he had any involvement.

May 1

HAVE GUN, WILL VANDALIZE: 26900 block of 168th Place Southeast. Someone shot out the window of a truck canopy with a BB gun. Later that day a window in a dental office in downtown Covington was found shot out, also with a BB gun.

April 29

NEED POWER: 24600 block of 188th Avenue Southeast. Someone stole a generator from an unsecured area of a homeowner’s yard in broad daylight.

THEFT: 26600 block of Timberlane Drive. A pair of males are suspected of breaking into a home and stealing a PlayStation 3 and iPod MP3 players.

April 28

BRAZEN SHOPLIFTER: 27100 block of 167th Place Southeast. The store manager of Kits Cameras reported that someone stole a video camera from the shop.

CAR THEFT: 16700 block of Southeast 272nd Street. Someone stole the keys from the pocket of a Fred Meyer employee’s jacket while she worked. The thief then moved her car to a different spot in the parking lot. The victim discovered that her wallet was missing from the car.

MAPLE VALLEY

May 1

THEFT: 25900 block of 212th Avenue Southeast. A 50 foot long garden hose was stolen from a homeowner’s yard.

April 30

TOBACCO FIX: 26900 block of Maple Valley Highway. Someone cut a hole in the roof of Tobacco Depot, entered the store, then stole cash and 400 cartons of cigarettes.

April 25

HIGH ON NATURE: 23500 block of Southeast 263rd Street. A boy was found walking along the Cedar River trail smelling of pot. When searched an officer discovered the boy was in possession of marijuana.
