TRESPASS

• A homeless man was trespassed from the Covington Library parking lot after he was found camping there. The police report stated he was staying in a motor home.

CRIMINAL WARRANT

• On Sept. 21 a male subject was released from the Kent jail and then booked into SCORE for his warrant out of Covington.

• On Sept. 28 officers arrested a male subject for a felony warrant. According to the police report, the subject yelled and screamed causing a disturbance before later identifying himself to officers. The police report stated he also had a small amount of suspected heroin on him. He was booked into the Regional Justice Center for his warrant.

• Officers were contacted for drug activity at the Dollar Tree in Covington. According to the police report, when officers arrived the suspects were gone. But while doing an area check, officers found a group of individuals matching the description. The police report added that one of the male suspects had a warrant.

BURGLARY

• It was reported on Sept. 22 unknown suspects entered a business through the sheet rock wall.

• On Sept. 27 unknown suspects broke into Ward’s Power Equipment in Covington by yanking off the bars of the window to gain entry. The police report did not state whether any items were taken from inside.

FAMILY DISTURBANCE

• On Sept. 22 officers responded to reports of a verbal family disturbance. The police report stated the family was not cooperative with law enforcement.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES

• On Sept. 23 an 8 year old reportedly ran away from their dad in order to call their mom. The police report stated there were implications of custodial interference but without a victim, the report was for information only.

LARCENY

• A suspect reportedly filled a trash can with an unknown number of items and wheeled the can to their vehicle a block away from the Home Depot parking lot.

• An attempted shoplift was reported at Kohl’s on Sept. 27. According to the police report, all of the merchandise was recovered. In a separate incident on the same day, a female suspect attempted to leave the store wearing merchandise she did not pay for. The police report stated the Loss Prevention Supervisor caught her.

FORGERY

• An unknown suspect reportedly used counterfeit money at the Hallmark store in Covington.

VEHICLE RECOVERY

• On Sept. 26 a stolen vehicle was found parked in the Covington Fred Meyer parking lot.

• A suspicious vehicle call on Oct. 2 near Cherokee Bay turned out to be a stolen vehicle out of Renton.

VANDALISM

• On Sept. 27 it was reported to officers that a rock had been thrown through the victim’s living room window.

VEHICLE PROWLER

• Around 12:40 a.m. on Sept. 27 it was reported to officers that an unknown black male went into the victim’s unlocked vehicle. The police report stated it did not appear that anything had been taken from inside.

VIOLATION OF COURT ORDERS

• On Sept. 28 officers were dispatched to a home in Covington to reports a no contact order had been violated. According to the police report, the order may have been violated via text messages.

AUTO THEFT

• On Sept. 30 officers responded to reports of a RV being stolen from a secured lot. The police report stated it was not clear what day or time the vehicle was taken or who took it.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE REVOKED

• On Sept. 30 officers stopped a vehicle for several traffic violations, according to the police report. The report added the driver was charged with driving with a suspended license and for driving with a suspended license registration.
