“Guess Who’s Coming to the Wedding” is opening at the Maple Valley Creative Arts Center on Aug. 15 and running through Aug. 24.

The show is a new drama by local playwright, Ed Corrigan.

This is Corrigan’s third play to be presented by the Creative Arts Center.

“Guess Who’s Coming to the Wedding is a timeless love story about two young people’s powerful love bringing together two very different families,” Corrigan said. “It is about how their beautiful love overcomes life’s drama, conflict and tragedy.”

Rich Wiltshire is directing. He most recently directed a successful production of Neil Simon’s “California Suites” at Theater Black Dog.

The show features actors Amber Thompson as Alexandra, Josh Cinkovick as John, and Shaun Neal as Marcus. It features Maple Valley’s very own Jeannie Holt as Peggy, Michael Destro as Mac, and Margaret Landry as Monica.

Performance dates are Aug. 15-17 and Aug. 22-24. Performance times are 7:30 p.m. and doors open at 7 p.m.

Tickets are now on sale at www.maplevalleyarts.com and are available at door. Adult tickets are $12 and Students/Seniors are $6. The show is rated PG 13.
