The National Weather Service has sent out a spring storm warning.

According to the weather service an “unusual spring windstorm” is moving into the area.

The service stated high winds may cause power outages in areas.

At this time the storm appears to be aiming at the northern part of the state with heavy rains and wind forecast.

The weather service is predicting about 20 mph winds in the Maple Valley, Covington and Black Diamond area with plenty of rain.

The weather for Tuesday looks like rain with wind between 8 and 14 mph.
