The will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Multicare Covington Emergency Department at 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 31.
There will be refreshments, guest speakers, music and self-guided tours.
The new 24,000 square-foot Emergency Department will contain 19 treatment rooms, four of them specialized for children.
The Emergency Department is located at 17700-B SE 272nd St. Covington.
