The Swinging Arm Restaurant and Taphouse in Black Diamond will host a fund-raiser for a team planning to ride in a bicycle event benefitting the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

The fund-raiser is scheduled for 11 a.m. to closing time on Aug. 13 at the establishment located at 30741 Third Ave, The members of Team Free Beer – Jen Longland, Sarah Cadle, tKathy Mattioda, Greg Morris, Colleen Willis, Wendy Riess, Kim Faretra and Jason Cadle – each need to raise at least $250 to participate in the 150-mile Group Health MS Bike Ride Sept. 13-14 through Skagit, Whatcom and Island counties. Swinging Arm customers can tell their servers that their ticket is going toward the team and the ride.
