• We had a few calls due to the wind & rain, but other than that it was a pretty quiet week.

Incident Of The Week

• 3:32 p.m., Jan. 19,

Location: Auburn Black Diamond Road

Resources: King County Fire District No. 44, Medic One, King County Sheriff’s Department

Engine 92 was dispatched to a report of a vehicle of over an embankment.

Upon arrival firefighters found a car about 200 feet down a steep embankment that appeared to have barrel rolled a good portion of the way down the hill.

A firefighter went down the hill using a safety line and an adult male was found who was obviously dead. He had been ejected from the car.

The scene was turned over to the King County Sheriff’s deputies.
