Maple Valley woman claims ex-boyfriend intentionally gave her sexually transmitted disease | Covington-Maple Valley Police Blotter

A woman reported that her ex-boyfriend persuaded her to have unprotected sex to intentionally infect her with a sexually transmitted disease.

COVINGTON

April 29

DRUGS AND WEAPONS: 17000 block of Southeast 267th Street. After being arrested on a misdemeanor warrant, a search of the subject turned up two knives, someone else’s prescription medications and a marijuana pipe.

VIOLENT SHOPLIFTER: 16700 block of Southeast 272nd Street. A man assaulted a store security officer who was trying to stop him from taking merchandise from Fred Meyer without paying.

April 25

SCAMMER: 19400 block of Southeast 261st Street. A buyer from Florida contacted the victim via the Internet and attempted to persuade the victim to cash two fake money orders then wire the cash to a “shipping agent” in Florida.

TAGGING: 20400 block of Southeast 260th Street. An employee of the Covington Water District reported to police that someone had spray painted graffiti on the utility’s water towers. The reporting party wanted to fill out a vandalism report rather than a commercial burglary report because no one is present at the facility.

April 24

ASSAULT: Southeast Wax Road and 196th Avenue Southeast. A woman reported a week old domestic violence assault. The officer who responded to the call noted she had light bruises around her nose and eyes. The woman declined aid. According to the police report, the couple had been married 18 months and dated more than three years prior to getting married. The woman’s husband could be charged with fourth degree assault.

April 22

FOUND: Southeast 262nd Street and 208th Avenue Southeast. A woman flagged won a police officer and explained she had found a shotgun in the middle of the road. She led the officer to the location at the intersection of Southeast 262nd and 208th Avenue. The officer observed a 22 caliber rifle sitting in the dirt on the north side of the road.

April 21

HAULIN’ STUFF: 26700 block of 171st Place Southeast. Someone stole an unlicensed cargo trailer from the parking lot of the Allegro Apartment complex.

BURGLARY: 26200 block of 192nd Place Southeast. A homeowner discovered that someone had broken into their garage when they went out to their car and found the car doors open and an Apple iPod digital music player stolen from within.

April 28

FOR HERE OR TO GO: 23700 block of 225th Avenue Southeast. A deli employee claimed someone called in an order then didn’t show up to pick it up so she then took the food for herself.

BURGLARY: 27000 block of 223rd Lane Southeast. Someone broke into a brand new model house built by Kendall Homes Northwest. They stole the washer and dryer.

BREAK IN: 21900 block of Southeast Wax Road. The suspect forced entry into a ground floor apartment through the window, stole medications and a jewelry box, then exited using a sliding glass door.

April 27

DRUG PARAPHERNALIA: 22100 block of Southeast 237th Street. Someone left an empty syringe and burnt spoon in the men’s public restroom at QFC.

April 26

DRUNK AND UNDER AGE: 26800 block of state Route 169. While being interviewed by police in the Goodwill parking lot during a robbery investigation, the subject appeared to be intoxicated. The person failed field sobriety tests and it turned out was under age therefore was charged with Minor in Possession.

April 24

VIOLENT THREATS: 27500 block of 218th Place Southeast. A man threatened his brother with a knife then pushed his mother. The man was booked into jail on felony threats and fourth degree assault.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES: 26200 block of 241st Place Southeast. A woman reported that her ex-boyfriend persuaded her to have unprotected sex to intentionally infect her with a sexually transmitted disease.
