Maple Valley Rotary scheduled the Texas Hold ’em poker tournament to raise money for “Shop with a Cop” Friday, Dec. 3 at the Lake Wilderness Golf Course.

The deal starts at 6 p.m. There will be cash prizes for first, second and third places – $60 includes buy-in and dinner.

In partnership with the King County Police Activities League (PAL), Greater Maple Valley Community Center and Covington Wal-Mart, ‘Shop with a Cop” served more than 370 at-risk and less fortunate children in our area last year, which is less than one-third of the need. The tournament is professionally run by Northwest Entertainment.
