A rally was held at the intersection of state Route 169 and Kent-Kangley Road in Maple Valley.
The rally was held by parents, teachers, principals and employees of the Tahoma School District in protest of proposed cuts to K-12 education by the state Legislature, including a one percent salary reduction and reducing the school year by five days.
