Maple Valley library will host an event to honor Helen and Nathan Gross, two longtime library patrons, and to welcome a new landscape addition 11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 31.

A park bench has been purchased from proceeds from the shell collection of the Grosses, who passed away this year.

Thanks to the Pacific Northwest Shell Club for donating proceeds for the purchase of the commemorative bench. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
