Anastasia Younce and Jamie Todd from Girl Scout Troop 42419 of Maple Valley delivered 71 boxes of cookies donated by customers during the annual sale to Ginger Passarelli on Saturday.

Passarelli will use them in the work of The Soup Ladies.

The troop adopted The Soup Ladies for the “Gift of Caring” program. Through the “Gift of Caring” program, girls choose an organization that they wish to benefit and provide customers the opportunity to purchase cookies as a donation.

As a thank you, Passarelli fixed the girls some of her famous cheesy garlic bread after the cookies were delivered to her restaurant, Mama’s Steak & Pasta in Black Diamond.
