Maple Valley Food Bank & Emergency Services fills sturdy, new backpacks with new, grade-level appropriate supplies for preregistered children, entering grades K-12.

Registrations for about 600 packs are expected this year from families in Covington, Hobart, Maple Valley, Ravensdale, and unincorporated areas within the Tahoma School District boundaries.

Registration for School Supply Backpacks begins July 14 at the Food Bank, 21415 Renton-Maple Valley Road SE, during food bank hours.
